I don't see yet I still believe.

I mention this because it happens all the time. In @JohnnyCadeLover's texting story (mainly based on headcannon), Dally's Mistake Pt. 1, it's revealed that Pony's bike can fly, but Dal and Johnny don't believe because they haven't seen it fly. But we all know that from E.T. (if you believe in cross-film headcannons) that said bike did fly, and it's because we've seen it that we believe that Pony's bike indeed flies. But it never has in any Outsiders headcannon content I've ever seen, or the Outsiders film (it seems that Ponyboy doesn't even has a bike at all). That's a partial in completing this road of not seeing and believing. But there's more to this than believing in flying bikes.

How about love? You can't see it, yet you believe in it one way or another. Here's an example from The Outsiders, it's about Ponyboy questioning Darry's love for him. He hasn't seen it, and he isn't believing it.

"I don't know... sometimes we get along okay, then all of a sudden he blows up on me or else is naggin' at me all the time. He didn't use to be like that... we used to get along okay... before Mom and Dad died. Now he just can't stand me.

Later on after the church fire, we see Darry and Sodapop enter Ponyboy's eyes again, and Pony is overcome by love. He ran to the door and Soda embraced him. But Darry just stood there. Crying. And it was at that point that Pony believed that Darry actually loved him. He screamed his name and hugged him so hard that I can't describe it in any way with words.

Suddenly I realized, horrified, that Darry was crying. He didn't make a sound, but tears were running down his cheeks.

In that second what Soda and Dally and Two-Bit had been trying to tell me came through. Darry did care about me, maybe as much as he cared about Soda, and because he cared he was trying too hard to make something of me. When he yelled Pony, where have you been all this time? he meant Pony, you've scared me to death. Please be careful, because I couldn't stand it if anything happened to you.

That is one of many example of believing when you see it. But how about religions and deities? I'm personally Christian, so I will use God/Jesus/Holy Spirit as an example.

Jesus had recently rised from the dead, and had appeared to all but one of his diciples. That diciple was Thomas. All the diciples told Thomas, but he refused to believe it until he saw it for himself. And he did, and then he believed again.

Don't push off the idea of miracles and great works. One of them is you. So let Him work in you.
